Weekly diary #6

Posted on August 24, 2017January 24, 2023

Hi, here I am with another weekly diary again! The past two weeks it was a little quiet here, besides the posts that appear on Monday. I was on holiday, I wrote about that here. Good news: I am not planning on leaving again anytime soon! Here’s weekly diary #6.

Series: Rot op met je milieu!

Posted on August 21, 2017January 24, 2023

Today I am sharing a must watch in the form of a series. A series of four episodes which can be watched on NPO2. I am talking about: Rot op met je milieu! A great series that shows different opinions about sustainability and how we need to deal with those differences. Today I am sharing…

Yes, you’re reading this right, I am going to the Sziget festival! Every year I go on a holiday with friends and this year we’re going to Budapest because we wanted to go to the Sziget festival together. I am so excited, oh my. But today I don’t want to share about the festival itself,…

Documentary: Before the Flood

Documentary: Before The Flood

Posted on July 31, 2017July 6, 2023

A good documentary, including Leonardo Dicaprio, what else can we want? Nothing. And so I’m writing about it today. Before The Flood is a documentary about climate change. It was released in 2016. If you haven’t seen it yet, I suggest you should. It is chocking, but extremely important.

No Impact Man by Colin Beavan

Posted on July 24, 2017July 6, 2023

Today I’m sharing a must watch and a must read all at once. It’s about Coling Beavan and his family. That’s because Beavan names himself the No Impact Man. As Beavan mentions, his family and him used to be like most other American families. They barely cook their own food, don’t own a bike and…

Eating Animals by Jonathan Safran Foer

Eating Animals by Jonathan Safran Foer

Posted on July 17, 2017July 6, 2023

Eating Animals by Jonathan Safran Foer is an elucidation. And I barely ever read those. Not since those were mandatory in high school. The ones I read then were extremely boring. But Eating Animals is not boring at all. In fact, I think it’s the best book I’ve read about this subject so far. And…

Weekly diary #2

Posted on July 13, 2017July 6, 2023

In my first weekly diary I told you that there will be a weekly diary online every Thursday. Maybe you’ve noticed, but the past two weeks there hasn’t appeared one. That’s because I was on a holiday to Gran Canaria (and I wrote a confession about it too). Sun, sea and fun! But I’m back…

ABOUT ME

when a teen goes green

Hi! My name is Romee Hoeksma and I am on a journey to an eco-positive life. An eco-positive lifestyle is a lifestyle in which I have a more positive than negative impact on the beautiful planet earth. On this blog you can follow my journey to a life with only positive impact. At this blog you can find all sorts of things, from tips to recipes to personal experiences, but most of all fun (I hope!). I write about how I want to change the world, but don’t look at it as if I’m judging you. If anything, I like responses from my dear readers the most, so don’t hesitate to contact me or respond to any of my posts!

Yours sincerely,
Romee
