It’s time for another hotspot! Over the past months in which I’ve decided to ditch the plane I’ve come to realize that holidays don’t have to be far away from home. Even better, I’ve come to realize that my own home country The Netherlands is beautiful! You just have to look. That’s why I am sharing a hotspot article about my new hometown today. Here’s a guide on the most sustainable and beautiful places I’ve come to find in Haarlem.
A few weeks ago I went to Berlin with my boyfriend for a weekend. Even though I had a blast, a weekend is too short. Berlin is huge! And amazing at the same time. So much to see, so many hotspots, a woman from the bike tour we did told us Berlin is six times larger than Paris! In this blogpost I want to tell you about the things we went to, so that when you visit Berlin, you’ll have a blast too. I’ll post it today, but I’m sure I’ll edit it through time, since I’ll definitely go back one day (or more!). So, here it is. A blogpost about Berlin. Continue reading “The most sustainable and fun hotspots in Berlin”
It’s time for another hotspot! A city I visited and fell in love with: Prague! I travel a lot, right? Yes, I am very spoiled. But I’m trying to do it more sustainable and less too. I’ve been to Prague for 5 days in total and it was 30 degrees Celsius every day. However, we did see a lot of places (besides the pool haha)! Prague is an absolute hotspot!Continue reading “The best and most sustainable hotspots in Prague”
Maybe you’ve read this in my past weekly diary. I’ve gone on a holiday to Ameland for a week! I had loads of fun! Ameland really provided us with everything we wanted. Fun, good weather and good food. And so, I am sharing this hotspot with you today. This place is amazing, especially if you’re looking for a sustainable holiday destination!Continue reading “Sustainable Holiday Hotspot: Ameland (The Netherlands)”
Past week I’ve been to the city of love, Paris. It were the four most amazing days. Paris is definitely a hotspot and it close by the Netherlands. I have to say: four days were not enough. A month might not even be enough! But right now a month off doesn’t fit in my agenda haha! But I can say that I want to visit it again someday. And so this blogpost is never finished. Every time I discover something new the list will be extended. For now: my favorite hotspots in Paris!Continue reading “Hotspot: Paris”
Past Wednesday I visited a company for the course Good Food I follow at school. It was a very inspiring visit and I’m determined to do a lot more when it comes to eating a local diet. We got a presentation and a tour around the company. We visited: Het Lokaal in Amersfoort.Continue reading “Hotspot: Het Lokaal in Amersfoort”
Today my holiday begins! Yes, again … The life of a student is good! But for now I wanted to look back to my previous holiday. In the big summer holiday I went to Madurodam! My grandpa had won tickets in the lottery, but he didn’t want to go himself. And so we (my boyfriend, brother, niece and I) got to go! I talked about it before in a weekly diary, but I promised a review. Today is the day! Because Madurodam is a great, sustainable hotspot.Continue reading “Sustainable Hotspot: Madurodam (The Netherlands)”
A while ago I mentioned in one of my weekly diaries that I wanted to start a new category on this blog. Today I am actually doing that! This is the new category: hotspots. I want to share the sustainable hotspots with you from everywhere I’ve been. Or just the other non-sustainable hotspots I’ve been to as well, to tell you about it (since I can’t always go to sustainable places only). I’m planning on sharing only the positive/sustainable hotspots. The things I don’t like won’t be included. This way you can read these posts and know where to go. So I present to you today: the first hotspot: Budapest!Continue reading “Hotspot: Budapest”
